Candidates should possess experience in payroll processing, either in-house or through a specialist bureau, with a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and ROI payroll legislation. They should have experience with manual calculations and be proficient in using Excel, Word, and payroll systems.
The Payroll Specialist will manage front-line customer enquiries via telephone and email, building and nurturing client relationships while delivering world-class service. They will accurately and timely process client payrolls, from receiving payroll changes to despatching and approving payrolls, keying payroll changes, producing client payroll reports, and sending payroll output to customers for checking and approval. Additionally, they will handle and answer customer questions/queries, ensure timely delivery of payroll, and produce invoice triggers for accurate client invoicing, while also maintaining KPI performance and performing additional duties as required by the IPS business and the Service Centre Team.
